What may travel togetheris not a judgement call.
Every shipment goes through the legal check before it is assigned: classification, co-loading, tunnel code and paperwork, against 116 legal sources.
Five checks decide an assignment.
They run in this order, because each one needs the result of the one before it.
- 01ClassificationKlasse 3, VG II
- Every shipment gets its dangerous-goods class and packing group, general cargo included. Without that result none of the following checks can run.
- 02Co-loadingADR 7.5.4
- Infectious substances must not be loaded in immediate proximity to foodstuffs. The conflict is reported as soon as the second item is in the order, not at the loading bay.
- 03Tunnel codeD/E
- The code follows from the classification and decides which tunnels the route may use. It feeds straight into route planning.
- 04Driver qualificationADR-Schein
- What counts is the time of the trip, not the time of assignment. If the certificate expires inside the tour window, the driver is not asked for that tour.
- 05Transport documentBeförderungspapier
- A missing entry means no release. The check names the entry that is missing rather than only rejecting the document.
What may share a vehicle.
Three freight types, every combination. One of them is ruled out, and the cell names the rule.

A warning can be dismissed. A lock cannot.
If a document is missing or a ban stands in the way, the order cannot be assigned. Not with a checkbox, not with a comment.
Common questions about freight validation
May dangerous goods travel with foodstuffs?
There is no blanket ban. ADR 7.5.4 names the substances that must not be loaded in immediate proximity to foodstuffs — labels 6.1 and 6.2 and a few class 9 substances. Other classes carry no co-loading restriction with food; there the food hygiene rules apply, with their duty to rule out contamination. Beelog checks the combination as soon as the second item is in the order, and names the rule it applies.
Does it also check when no dangerous goods are involved?
Yes. Every shipment is classified, general cargo included. Only the classification result decides whether an ADR check is needed at all.
What happens if a document expires during the tour?
The driver is not proposed for that tour. The check runs against the time window of the trip, not against the day of assignment. For documents with a grace period, its end applies.
Does this replace our dangerous goods safety adviser?
No. It replaces looking things up in tables and legal texts, not the responsibility. Every finding names its source so your adviser can verify it.
Where do the legal sources come from?
From the ADR, the EU regulations on food and medicinal safety, and the adjacent German rules. Every check shows the source it relies on rather than only an outcome.
