Chilled, frozen, ambient. The system knows the difference.

The check distinguishes four kinds of food shipments: chilled, frozen, ambient and liquid. Each sets its own requirements for body and vehicle.

The cold chain runs on shouted answers.

Whether the body is really rated for minus eighteen degrees is written on a type plate nobody sees at dispatch. The order goes to whoever is free, and whether the goods end up next to something they must not stand beside is decided while loading.

How a shipment travels.

Every order passes six stations. Marked are the ones where this trade has rules of its own.

  1. Created

The classification is a required field: chilled, frozen, ambient or liquid. From it the system derives the temperature zone; nobody looks it up.

  2. Checked

Chilled means 0 to 8 °C, frozen −18 °C with 3 kelvin tolerance. The body's ATP class has to match the zone, and infectious substances must not share the cargo space.

  3. Assigned

The request reaches only partners whose vehicles can run the zone. A box body without a matching ATP certificate is not asked.

  4. In transit

The tour runs stop by stop in the computed order. The app keeps working in a dead zone, because everything is on the device.

  5. Delivered

Handover against proof: photo and signature attach to the order before the driver moves on.

  6. Settled

The billing line item comes into being with the proof, not with an approval at month's end.

What has to be on file

Records live once in the organisation, not in every order. When one expires, the block applies before the next assignment.

What Beelog does not do.

Beelog does not measure temperature. What the body holds is recorded by the vehicle; what the system ensures is that only a suitable body is asked, that incompatible freight is never planned together, and that the handover is documented. Food-law responsibility stays with you.

Questions about food transport

Which temperature zones does the system know?

Chilled at 0 to 8 °C, frozen at −18 °C with 3 kelvin tolerance, plus ambient and liquid. The zone comes from the shipment's classification and decides which vehicles qualify.

What does Beelog check on the ATP certificate?

That it exists, is valid, and that its class matches the required zone. If it expires, the block takes effect before the next dispatch, not after loading.

How is separation from other freight ensured?

At the check, not at the dock: a food shipment is never planned onto the same cargo space as infectious substances. The conflict stops the order before it is assigned.
